School Monkey offers 60 day returns – whether it doesn’t fit or is the wrong size. Simply fill out the Return Form below, return the Product back to us, and we will be happy to provide you with a refund, credit or replacement Product.

Our Returns Policy

1.            Application

  1. This Returns Policy applies to all orders for the supply of Products from School Monkey.
  2. This Returns Policy does not exclude or limit any rights which you may have under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) ("CCA"). 

2.            What if I changed my mind about my purchase?

We are unable to provide a refund, credit or replacement product for a change of mind. 

3.            What if the Product does not fit or is the wrong size?

  1. Subject to adherence with the process described in clause 6(b), if a Product does not fit or is the wrong size, we will, at our discretion, either:
    1. refund the actual purchase price for the Product paid by you;
    2. provide a credit for an amount equivalent to the actual purchase price for the Product paid by you; or
    3. provide you a replacement Product;

You will not receive a refund or credit for delivery costs.

4.            What if the Product is damaged or incorrectly described?

  1. Subject to adherence with the process described in clause 6(c), if a Product is damaged, incorrectly described, or materially different from the sample of the Product shown to you on the Website or by us, we will, at our discretion, either:
    1. refund the actual purchase price and delivery charge for the Product paid by you;
    2. provide a credit for an amount equivalent to the actual purchase price and delivery charge for the Product paid by you;
    3. provide you a replacement Product; or
    4. repair the Product.
  2. If you are deemed to be a "consumer" under the Australian Consumer Law in Schedule 2 of the CCA ("ACL"):
    1. the following notice applies (although it may not apply in your particular case): Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
    2. in providing the notice in clause 4(b)(i), we do not vary or extend the remedies otherwise available to you and your rights under the ACL or any other law are in addition to the rights that you may have under this Returns Policy.

5.            Who bears the cost and expense of claiming under a warranty?

You are responsible for bearing all costs and expenses related to making a warranty claim under this Returns Policy. You are also responsible for any costs incurred by you in investigating any defective Product.

6.            What is our returns process?

  1. For claims under clause 3(a) the following process applies:
    1. you must complete the returns form found on below within 60 days of the date you received the Product before any Products are returned back to us;
    2. once the returns form has been completed we will assess your request and provide you with a return merchandise authorisation (RMA) number and shipping details;
    3. you must return the Product, unused and in its original packaging and condition (e.g. all tags attached), to a location specified by us within 60 days from the date you received the Product; and
    4. we will, within 5 business days (or such other period determined by us) of receiving the returned Product, provide you with, at our option, one of the actions described in clause 3(a)(i), 3(a)(ii) or 3(a)(iii). 
  2. For claims under clause 4(a) the following process applies:
    1. you must complete the returns form found on below within 30 days of the date you received the Product before any Products are returned back to us;
    2. once the returns form has been completed we will assess your request and provide you with a return merchandise authorisation (RMA) number and shipping details;
    3. you must return the Product, unused and in its original packaging and condition (e.g. all tags attached), to a location specified by us within 60 days from the date you received the Product; and
    4. we will, within 5 business days (or such other period determined by us) of receiving the returned Product, provide you with, at our option, one of the actions described in clause 4(a)(i), 4(a)(ii), 4(a)(iii) or 4(a)(iv). 
  3. If you have purchased a Product from a partner school, we may permit you to return the Product to that school.

Once the returns form has been completed, we will assess your request and provide you with a return merchandise authorisation (RMA) number and shipping details.
